The red flags for me was when he stole DW's post, he reworded it to be about his buddy... And the most recent theft was within minutes of DW's post on this site.

Again, odd thing is, both would have gladly said okay if they had been asked (I assume) (and if GMHockey.com had gotten the plug).

Wow. This is getting out of hand. Someone calling themselves "SD" just posted practically the same thing on that site...

I'm sure if you asked the original posters (Dawg's Wife, DavetheRave, Wprager etc.) they'd have said go ahead and quote me. In future, just PM us and we'll give you the okay for sure. At the VERY least, give our site a shout-out. It's one of the better ones.

We've talked about this, SD. Gotta be done. Be thankful that we're making room for Elliott, starting the process of alleviating our cap situation, and getting anything at ALL for him given the circumstances (i.e., so many FA goalies available right now).

I'll respond here rather than in the PM (no offense BD it's just easier). First I never received an inquiry as to whether this person could use my post as reference.

Second, I never would allow it. The stuff I post comes from Dawg, and while his identity is something few people on this site know in real life, the information I post is something he could get in trouble for. Not knowing who this person is, and for what reason they intend to use it I never would allow it.

Plus I would ask that he redirect any interested parties here rather than a cut and paste. I'd rather this site get the traffic and the kudos than some guy who can surf the internet and put words together.

I hardly ever read the comments there (they pop-up in a new window -- I don't like that) but I did just now. I certainly noticed some of DW's and DTR's and RooneyPoo's (extolling the virtues of capgeek.com word-for-word).

I don't think I saw any of mine, though. I think the problem is that this BeRed fella (?) likes to change things up a bit, correct spelling mistakes and so on. My posts are just so darn perfect that he cannot think of anything to change. Yeah. that must be it.

No offence taken of course DW, I just really wanted the air to be cleared...
