Lehner's father coached Lundqvist, so that's why there are a lot of similarities. But he is bigger than Henrik -- 2" and who knows, maybe he'll grow another inch (or get bigger skates )

Lehner was such a great pick. Almost cried when we got him.

Heatley for Marleau we'd still be over the cap, and the Sharks would be over even more than they are now. It can't be that simple. We cannot do a deal with the Sharks unless a third team is involved.

Now, that said, could you imagine Spezza centering the top line, Marleau the second? Fisher has no choice but play wing ( or we'd have a $4M third line center).

That really depends on where he plays. He could do a lot of damage with Thornton, but it would also depend on who would be on the other wing.

1. Do you mean goals or total points?
2. Does Heatley play in San Jose or Edmonton (or Phoenix).
3. Does Kovalev get feeds from Spezza or Fisher -- that one is a huge difference.

I think there is a joke or some sarcasm in there. Jacques Martin signed to coach the Habs, but the Habs are an entirely different team now than they were when he signed?

Geez this is crazy.. I was kind of shocked when they announced this.. I've made fun of this guy with Habs fans for so many years for him being so lazy! Oh well he is a crazy talent when he wants to be... I think he's by far the most "skilled" player we've ever had, might not be the best, but I can't wait to see some of those deke's! I just hope he plays like he can while he's here...

6th Sens Battle of Ontario posted this clip of Kovalev on Tucker. I believe he got a penalty for it but man, was it worth it!

Hmm, could be, but you seem intent on putting him on with Fisher. Fisher is not as good a set-up man as Spezza nor as good at finishing as either Spezza or Alfie. He's great at other things so I really am not bashing Mike at all. Just that if Kovalev plays on the 2nd line he will not get nearly as many points (unless the PP really clicks). It would be close.
