Hopefully he comes back. He's one of those guys that you always listen to when he shares his opinion.

Anyhow, this move was mentioned somewhere weeks ago. Exactly as it played out I might add. I wish I could remember where I read or heard it though.

According what was said, Dudley will indeed assume the GM role and Waddell will move into a more business-related role (President or whatever).

There seems to be some confusion on if Dudley has actually joined the Thrashers and what his exact role will be... I guess we'll await their press release to confirm.
