What video game are you playing?

I have a PS3 for real games and now have a Wii for fun. I will tell you that the Wii is very fun and my little ones and wife love it but they all find the PS3 games too complicated. (bear in mind the kids are 3 1/2 and 6)

For true game play you can't beat a PS3 IMO. I have not exposed myself to the X-box though. Just have been a Sony guy since Sega died on the altar of capitalism.

NHL10 for PS3 is phenominal.. truly spectacular gaming experience.

For the Wii I love Tiger Woods 10 and the Wii fit.

that is not nerdy, I am still trying to convince the better half about getting a PS3, saying it is an investment (blu ray DVD player for her chick flicks), plus it's only $299. I will most likely have to settle for the Wii, that is to be the big family christmas gift this year, perhaps I will get 2K10 out of this just to tide me over.

I hear the 2k10 on the Wii is supposed to be really good. We have a Wii too, we barely use it though...I love it, but we also have the ps2 and now the Xbox360..too much to choose from. And, sometimes I just like to play poker online or freecell. I have an addictive personality and I tend to get hooked on one thing for a month and then move onto the next thing.

I would suggest House of the Dead if you end up getting the wii. Lots and lots of fun. Just don't play in front of the kids obviously.

That game freaks me right out.

So....the bottom line is that the hard drive size doesn't really matter?

boo to Xbox, can't stand Microsoft, I am really excited to get Mario Party 8 (or 9 if it's out already), yeah it sounds so juvenile, but man, Mario party games are fun, especially with 4 people and after a few drinks lol. house of the dead, will keep that in mind, if it's not any worse than God of War, then there will be no shock factor lol.

You don't need the 120G mate, I'd buy the smallest HD (but do buy one with a HD though).

Why would you need an elite model? You don't do any of that stuff...

And on top of that, at least with the PS3, you can update to a larger HDD yourself... It's not very difficult, and there are video instructions online. But again, that's for the PS3. I would imagine the same is true for the 360.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna do it anymore. I might wait and see what the PS3 has to offer in the future. It's coming down a lot. I don't know what I'm gonna do.

Don't forget the PS3 is 299$ now, with a bluray player, wi-fi and the 60 gb xbox 360 is only 50$ cheaper.

Yeah, I know what you're saying; I'm just not impressed. I wish I could justify to spend the $ on a PS3 (mind you, it wouldn't help with Netflix as it's not a supported device) ...
