Diddle. I drove out to the FS in Gloucester because they were advertising it for 9.99. They were all gone, so I got a rain cheque and I never made it back. Diddle.

Maybe I'll rent it for a week.

Psp is the next Dung. God of war and FF7 Crisis core are out, and metal gear solid 5 + gran turismo + little big planet + resident evil + soul calibur out this fall :drooling:

Do you know if you can replace the joystick on it? When we bought it, it was off (we got it used).

For square enix fans, there are a couple new additions to their major game franchises, meaning Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts that may get your gaming fancy, however, the Final Fantasy game is only on PSP and the Kingdom Hearts game is on the DS. Links are below and they look pretty sweet.

Does anyone know what the longterm difference between the smaller XBOX vs the bigger one (hard drive) is? All I want is to be able to play NHL2010 and let's say....have 3 or 4 other games saved - like Batman for example and a couple of others.

I don't need it to be my processor or anything. Does anyone know?

I have a hard drive on mine and I install games locally; you still need to put the cd in so it doesn't save anything to install the game to the hard drive. I only use my HD to save profile stuff (console and games).

Yeah, I noticed that it installed Wolverine when I borrowed the system the other day. That doesn't mean that the game is on there permanently, does it?

So, you have a smaller hard drive, and you just use it to save games etc?

I have a PS3 for real games and now have a Wii for fun. I will tell you that the Wii is very fun and my little ones and wife love it but they all find the PS3 games too complicated. (bear in mind the kids are 3 1/2 and 6)

For true game play you can't beat a PS3 IMO. I have not exposed myself to the X-box though. Just have been a Sony guy since Sega died on the altar of capitalism.

NHL10 for PS3 is phenominal.. truly spectacular gaming experience.

For the Wii I love Tiger Woods 10 and the Wii fit.

that is not nerdy, I am still trying to convince the better half about getting a PS3, saying it is an investment (blu ray DVD player for her chick flicks), plus it's only $299. I will most likely have to settle for the Wii, that is to be the big family christmas gift this year, perhaps I will get 2K10 out of this just to tide me over.
