In the mean time, Markham will move forward with their plans to build a 20,000 seat arena.

Gillett is involved, but not sure to what capacity. Seems he's been meeting with Markham councillors... who are set to vote tonight...

Actually, it has taken a turn for the worse for Jamison. Looks like he won't be able to come up with the $$$ needed and will miss the deadline.

So, deal will expire, much to the happiness of the current Glendale City Council as it seems a lot of them did not like it and would prefer to have the team leave.

as much as i'd like the yotes to move to QC, the NHL knows that canadian markets will pay expansion prices for a new franchise. my bet on relocation is KC or seattle.
