Ottawa has never had a legit power forward, the closest thing we have had/have is Mike Fisher. People might say Heatley, but he plays on the perimeter for the most part and has a lethal shot, same with Alfi who is more finess.

Colin Wilson, Lucic, Getzlaf, all those young, huge guys with skill is exactly what the Sens need and if they can draft someone of that nature the Sens will be a better team in the future because of it!

Celine Dion...isn't she one of the owners of the new Las Vegas NHL franchise? LOL

It's not like she'd drop a thin dime to support a franchise in La Belle Province.

Now that's a start!

SensFan: yeah, I could go for some serious pop star wannabe carnage! LOL

As a matter of fact, two birds with one stone: tackle this ridiculous pop/hip hop rock star crap and reality tv series vomit and combine them.

Drop people like American Idol/Canadian Idol winners, losers, rejects, NKOTB, Justin Timberlake, etc,,, and put them on an island and film it. to make it fun, move in a cannibalistic tribe from Papua New Guinea and put them on the other side of the island and then let the cameras roll!!

LMAO!

Except with his next contract Lucic is likely to be making a hell of a lot more than Neely ever did in his career. He and Neil are in two entirely different classes. The only similarity is neither one backs down from a fight.

As for Neil, I tend to see where you are coming from DTR, and unless Neil takes a hometown discount, perhaps the sun has set on his tenure with the Sens.

One thing for sure, I will always admire and respect the courtesy he showed Lucic last night, because for all intensive purposes, once Lucic was fighting 'blind', Neil could have easily put him down for a nap. Great showing of ethics and class Neil. Bravo!

Chris Neil is indeed a very classy guy...and he does, as he has said, "Bleed Sens colours". But IMHO the tilt between him and Lucic put a harsh spotlight on the reality of where Chris Neil is in the current NHL.

Milan Lucic is 20 years old, makes $575K a year, 6'4" 220 lbs, and is on pace for 15-26-42 with a plus 14. He is talked about as 'another Cam Neely' (for what that's worth).

Chris Neil is 29 years old, makes $1.2MM (and wants $2MM), 6'1' 209, on pace for 3-5-8 with a minus -18. Great team player whose best of his six seasons saw him pot 16 goals (he has scored more than ten only twice).

Milan Lucic is an example of the New Kids On The Block who are becoming--and may become--the core of the NHL. The NKOTBs are bigger, stronger, faster, just as tough, more skilled, more productive and less expensive.

Ottawa needs NKOTBs.
