All pretty ridiculous rumours stirred by Dreger but vanriemsDyk is awful. It would be good deal for Philly if they could get Lehtonen who shows brilliance every now and then and will likely round into form. Philly does not need anymore forwards anyways, especially VRD who seems to be a headcase who gives little to no effort. There had to be a reason why he did not have the C or even an A for USA when he was considered their star player at the world juniors. If PHI could get good goalie prospect or even a solid draft pick I imagine they would be thrilled to do it.

That test was nasty. A colleague at work got her Bachelor degree at Sherbrooke and only managed a B. I saw people studying before the test started using what looked like printouts from a highschool French text. Those would be less than useless for this test.

My Wife only has a B in Oral and she is very comfortable speaking and expressing herself in French. We went to France to visit her Father's side of the family twice now and she's had zero problem conversing with them.

I heard they are very picky on the correct use of the different tenses. You've got to be (consistently) able to speak about the present, past and future, and to be able to distinguish between passé composé and imperfect. It's funny what they value, really. The co-worker I mentioned got an A in oral.

Yeah I feel for you guys that have to do these tests in French, luckily I am french first language so I get to do all these tests in English... It's been a while since I did mine.. Good Luck, hopefully you do well... Are these tests your last hurdle to a job or is it just your choice to do?
