I think Spotlight On works well. Can be anything from appreciation thread to bio of a lesser known player...

Actually, I loved his game against Buffalo now that I think about it. One of his best games of the year, so he's moving into better territory.

How about we name it after an unsung hero of the past that never really got any recognition... Like the Shaun Van Allen award... or the Andreas Dackell, Magnus Arvedsson... Something along those lines....

Edit: although i never liked Andreas Dackell... We could name the donkey award after him...

^ That's a neat idea too. Although it's not as much a reward as it is a thread of appreciation.

Still, cool idea Bass. We could nominate 5 guys every month who we all feel as deserving of the Shaun Van Allen Award.

Can we use that as a monthly award for the player we feel deserves more recognition? That way we can have an actual player name thread, then we can toss out a monthly award that people vote on.

I personally like the Van Allen award, but I'll leave it in your capable hands guys.
