Ryan Whitney traded for Kunitz!

I'll give Pit initial win in this trade, hands down. Advantage may shift to Anaheim later on down the road

The only thing I like about the trade Tangradi.

I'm not in love with Kunitz.

Mind you, we should take this opportunity to give Bryan Murray a quick shout out for finding Kunitz out of uni.

Tangradi is the deal breaker, he's definitely going to tear it up when he gets to the NHL, put him with Malkin and let them go.

Interesting. Kunitz has bloomed into his full potential IMO. If he could have gotten 70+ points, he would have with Getzlaf and Perry, not sure about the impact he's gonna have on Pitts.

We'll have to wait and see I guess, but he's not the first winger that came to mind when I knew they were gonna make a move.

We'll see what happens...certainly there's a D-man available in Anaheim - and he's off the charts good.

man, i think this is a good trade for both teams. especialy if the ducks get rid of pronger or nediermayer. i really like Kunitz, picked him in my pool this year and i think he's gonna be gold in pitsburg... very jealous of this trade... finaly the dominos hahaha what's next?

I meant Morrison, not Selanne, my bad - but even better for Anaheim.

This kinda looks like the Corvo for Stillman trade. The Pens continue to mirror the sens of last year.

i hear the opposite. i heard nediermayer was coming back next year... selanne is on the books for 2.6 for next year(such a good deal) but i don't know about beauchemin.
they have alot of UFA's to resign.

Pretty solid trade I'd say. Doesn't change the fact that Fleury blows balls.

i.m no economist but if they state they need to make some room i'm sure they have a plan.
