Deep thoughts

Hey all,

I just thought I'd share my philosophy on Life.

Life is a series of distractions; the more you have and the more enjoyable they are, the more fullfilled your life will have been.

I like it!

There once was a really funny, thought provoking, and controversial comedian named Bill Hicks. He's not with us anymore, but in my opinion he's still the funniest and most truthful entertainer I have ever seen. This is his philosophy on life...

"The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when
you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's
how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down
and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very
brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a
while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and
they begin to question: "Is this real, or is this just a
ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back
to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever,
because this is just a ride." And we kill those people."

That's cool. I like that one as well.

Nice quote Snuh... I really enjoyed Bill Hicks' rants and philosophies.
That's probably why I enjoy Denis Leary so much... hehe

Alot of people consider Denis Leary to be nothing more than a Bill Hicks impersonator. For me though, I'd have to put George Carlin at the top of the list. There are many many guys who owe their careers to guys like Carlin and Pryor for blazing the trail.

Carlin is #1, no question.

Here's another philosophy I heard but don't know where it comes from. Short and sweet though.

Live, Eat, Reproduce and Die.
