KHL can't pay players

probably also explains why despite all his Wing Dang Doodle Nikulin stayed in North America to play in Phoenix's farm system instead of returning to Russia like he promised us he would. Being in the AHL when you are such a "superstar" prospect may suck, but I guess not getting paid sucks more.
