Forbes has released their ranking of the 30 NHL teams' values.

Not surprising, the Leafs are at the top. Here are how the 6 Canadian teams fared overall:

Toronto: #1
Montreal: #3
Vancouver: #8
Ottawa: #13
Calgary: #14
Edmonton: #20

Naturally, the soaring Canadian dollar has helped the Canadian clubs be more profitable.

The Islanders and Coyotes are at the bottom. The Coyotes' franchise, from a business perspective, had been described as a train wreck. They'll be looking at relocation if they continue to struggle both on the ice and on the ledger.
