you guys gonna post everyone picks so we can see how close it is?

Will post tonight. Dead heat on which team is selected as the potential worst team.

i don't understand, though. Not each division has 4 playoff teams. One could only have 3.

Make sure you have three teams from each division minimum, total of 8 for the conference.

So, you could have 3 from Atlantic and 5 from Metro for example.

That's correct - the Central had five teams (Colorado, Chicago, Dallas, Minnesota) last year.

Pasting it in this thread looks ok (will do it), but it is a little cramped. I reported each team and did a cumulative total for picks per NHL team. Here are some of the highlights:

* Seven teams were selected by all to make the playoffs: LA, Anaheim, Chicago, St. Louis, NYR, Pittsburgh, Boston
* Six teams were not selected by anyone to make the playoffs: Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Carolina, Buffalo, Florida
* Screw the pundits!! 10 of 12 select the Ottawa Senators to make the playoffs.
* Buffalo chosen by 5 of 12 to have the worst record. The highlight is Arizona was selected by one to have the worst record while two selected Arizona to make the playoffs.
* A lot of symmetry in all divisions but the Metro
* If you live together, you have chosen the exact same 16 teams to make the playoffs!
