All things 2014 Playoffs

I'm gonna get on the LA bandwagon. Would like to see them in the final with NYR. Then, have an epic 7-game grinding, slugfest of a SCF that has 7 OTs and all the madness we hope for in a SCF.

I was half right.

That was one of the best games I've ever seen. The talent level was astronomical.

Yeah, I should throw out all comparisons of Spezza to Kane. Just read that of his 37 playoff goals 17 have come in the third period and 4 more in OT. Clutch or what? Those two goals were nice but the pass on the tying goal was best.

Now watch G7 be a dud as one of the goalies implodes and gives up a touchdown.

The way LA was playing I just figured it would be the Kings who won last night.. Guess I was wrong..

This will be LA's 3rd 7 game series. That's wild..

Rangers hoping for quadruple OT with multiple career-threatening injuries and the corresponding multi-game suspensions, right? Because that's the only way they have a shot, right?

Or maybe this notion that the West is somehow -- even with the cap in place -- stronger than the East, that every playoff team out there is head and shoulders above everyone here, except for maybe Boston and Pittsburgh.

I guess we'll see.

With Lundqvist, anything can happen. All you need is a hot goalie to ride.

Hopefully this is one of those classic games. I had said a few days ago that LA looked unbeatable.. but Chicago came on strong.

Chicago has home ice advantage.. but that's about it. These teams are so close.
