Turris wasn't expendable, he wanted out and refused to sign with Phoenix. They'd have kept him if they could.

Anderson same deal, couldn't come to terms on a deal and he left the Avalanche out to dry like us this year.

Not saying Stewart sucks ... just that St. Louis think they can do without him although they are stacked on forwards unlike us.

Him and Hitchcock didn't like each other, simple as that. Stewart was the main piece in the Johnson deal not long ago and that was for the former 1st overall. Stewart is exactly the type of winger the Sens need, prototypical... there are question marks but this is a move I like a lot.

Would not be surprised to see Borowiecki traded to Buffalo in a deal for Stewart.

Sens have invested too much in Hoffman IMO but you never know. I think Prince is the guy. Boroweicki is on a 1 way next year as well so there isn't a ton of room for him.

Still going to happen whether it's tonight or tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dreidger moved in a deal as well...
