I found Captain America to be all kinds of "meh". I actually preferred Thor, and I haven't seen The Avengers yet.
Prometheus is a pretty good sci-fi flick if you disassociate the link to Alien(s) in your mind. The only real Aliens tie in comes right at the end.

It's a prequel, that much as been discussed and settled. Having Ridley Scott at the helm doesn't hurt, either (although did he direct or produce it?) I'll have to watch the first two with the boys before seeing this one.
