Not sure of the roster as of yet, but I assume the top six is close to what we'll be icing:

This is a guess at the lineup tonight:

Filatov - Spezza - Butler
Michalek - Zibanejad - Alfredsson
Foligno - Smith - Neil
Daugavins - Greening - Condra

Cowen - Karlsson
Kuba - Gonchar
Boroweicki - Lee
Carkner (?)
Rundblad (no idea where he fits in this)

Anderson
Auld

I assume Phillips isn't playing because of his tweaked back, I also assume Da Costa can't go and we know Regin's out. Also assume that Anderson is good to go.

Should be interesting - a little pressure on Zibanejad never hurt.

Very strange lineup!

MacLean is really experimenting with the line combinations and who can play on their offside etc. Ahhhhh!

(swap 9MM for Filatov MacLean !)

Kuba might still be injured apparently? Not sure who has concrete info on that.

Looks like Da Costa is very unlikely to be #2C if he's on the 5th line with 2 players heading down to Bingo.

What makes you say that? They've both been really solid IMO.

MZ is paired with Alfie and 9MM.

Da Costa is with Hoffman and Daugavins who will almost certainly be in Bingo before season starts.

But if Da Costa is injured that could explain why he is playing with the others. Those thre probably don't play tonight.

Yeah, as Big Ev said I'm not sure that matters in the grand scheme if he hurt himself yesterday. Probably none of them are playing - which sucks, I wanted to see Daugavins one last time, but there's no room.

The Sens will get a look at what their team basically will look like tonight. I like that Greening/Spezza/Fialtov line, gives you a little bit of everything. I hope they ask Filatov to shoot a little more though. Butler might end up being the guy on that line for obvious reasons though.

This forward lineup looks pretty much perfect.

Pretty much I guess. Interesting that he wants that big dude with Spezza and Filatov - it worked last year and we're starting to see just how much MacLean loves Greening I think.

Foligno and Smith are the grinders on that 3rd line, Butler will be asked to be the shooter - could be the jump start he needs - because I can't defend Butler when it gets to the real season and he's not scoring. He needs to do what it takes here.

That lineup's just missing Da Costa and Winchester...right?

EDIT: and Regin. Da Costa likely starts in the AHL - it's good for him anyway.
