Fisher makes sense from marketing but they are fairly deep at center.

Hard business decision: Fisher has proven that he is not a 4.2 million dollar hockey player in the regular season. He has made his rep in the playoffs.

With the team unlikely to make the playoffs while Fisher is a Sen, this is a smart, albeit tough, decision. I like most am a Fisher fan and will miss seeing him as a Sen.

Good move.

What's the condition on the 2012 pick? I had ZERO use for Fisher anymore, not hard enough to play against, not scoring, 4.2 million, the works, I'm VERY pleased right now!

Conditional pick is a 3rd rounder in 2012, turns into a 2nd rounder in the Preds win 2 or more playoff series.
