That first one was dubious. Ronaldo wasn't even touched so he deserves the one he got just for that reason.

I guess that 2nd place spot can go to anyone now. Portugal was it's usual passive self. Ronaldo is a disappointment in International play, as usual.

Seriously, though., I couldn't have picked Argentina to lose, so how come I didn't get points for that? And I'm also pretty sure I picked Germany and the Netherlands, and they both won.

The more I think about it, the more I think I forgot to submit my picks, somehow.

I just checked my results in the other pool (same pool, for the Kanata soccer coaches, I'm pretty sure I had mostly the same picks) and I am 42nd out of 59, with 4 of 11 correct. The coach in the lead is 8-3. Considering the upsets so far (Korea over Greece, US tying England) that's a pretty impressive record.

Wanna hear a weird one? If I had picked "Draw" for all the matches I'd have 6 points right now.

well its cuz I'm legally a U.S. resident as well as canadian citizen. Plus, Americans have played some of the most dramatic games yet.
