Germany should dominate if they can show up!

Well, it was a close game but Germany edged out Uruguay 3-2. The big game is today at 2:30pm ET. Netherlands vs Spain. Should be a good one.

Nil-nil after 45. Meh... not a great game... got good there towards the end. The bronze medal game yesterday between Germany and Uruguay was a very good match. Hopefully this one picks up in the 2nd half.

Well, *that* was exciting. A clear breakaway -- don't see that every day in football.

True. There was no open-beating-heart scene or even small stuff, like torn off ears.

Exactly what our coach had been teaching the goalies -- dive/fall for the ball but leave the legs/feet trailing just in case.
