Miro Satan is expected to sign with the Bs today - in fact, I believe he has already.

Interesting. Just a depth move or is Lucic going to be out longer than hoped?

Probably signed for less than a million - and he's still got a scoring touch. No risk at all, I like it.

Spector is saying the reports are that he's a Bruin:

It's the kind of shrewd move a GM makes when he's in need of scoring - say when two members of your top line are injured for a long spell.

Why do I see Satan being a miserable signing for Boston? Is it just me or does he pretty much sum up everything that is the polar opposite of Bruins hockey?

For sure, no harm, no foul on this one. Unless they paid him more than 1.5 - which I doubt they did.

Isn't his Yahoo sports player id 666? Or is that TSN's?

Are you *not saying* something?

In Murray's defense, he did not have any cap room. They've been chewing through their available cap space at a rate where by the end of the season they would have next to nothing left unless the injuries slowed down.

TSN is reporting it's $700K pro-rated for about a half season (so a roughly $350K cap hit).
