He's gonna play with Marleau, Thornton and Boyle on the PP, all he need is one leg to look decent.

A huge check from Spezza followed by a 10 second giggle.

Did anyone see that interview on Sportsnet.ca with Heatley saying there's more to the story of him asking to be traded than what he's said and he won't say anymore about it. He almost seems proud of the other reasons but doesn't want to gloat or something. Get over yourself Heatley.

Could the reason be that he wanted to prove his a superstar that can get his way anytime he wants and he seems to have accomplished that throughout his career?

What he wanted was to go to a contender. The problem is San Jose has never proven they're a contender and he certainly won't be giving them what they need in a tight checking playoffs if they make it even as far as the 3rd round.

Also, Heatley should call up Hossa and ask him how well picking a contender has worked out for him so far in his career.

Fisher, Michalek, Volchenkov (if healthy) and Phillips will make Heatley's night miserable. He'll be a minus player with no shots on net.

Volchenkov? Yeah, that's one guy, but what about Mattie Carkner? That's 240 pounds of anger going towards that little (big) dude. Can his bionic knees and lungs etc. etc. take that? evil

Also....you knew this was gonna happen: Voodoo
