Richardson officially invited to training camp

I was hoping he would become a defenseman coach in the organization but it looks like Murray and Hartsburgh are giving him another shot. Hopefully its just to push the younger players and make the camp competitive (certainly looks like there will be MANY internal battles). If he earns himself a contract he'll be our 7th D for injuries. I wonder if that could be the end of Schubie-doo in Ottawa, would be a shame as he's never gotten a real shot to play full time D here.

Combine that with the other info floating about:
1. Wichester one a one-way is expected to stick around
2. Carkner has been asked to play right wing at camp

And you definitely get a serious vibe that the days of Schubert as a Sen are drawing to a close. We definitely have a surplus forward or two. I smell a trade.
