Mine is definitely the Hurricane. It's the story of Ruben "Hurricane" Carter the boxer who was falsely convicted of murder. The movie with Denzel Washington was good too.

Bob Dylan's brother taught me to play recorder. Before we came to Canada we spent a year and a half in Rome, waiting to get an entry visa. My sister and I ended up going to the Overseas School of Rome -- a private school populated, mostly, by children of diplomats and ex-pat execs working overseas. And they had a policy for helping out penniless immigrants. Anyhow, Roy Zimmerman was the music teacher, and I had a music class with him. Couldn't afford a guitar, so recorder it was. Several years layer we found out (through a friend) that this guy was Bob Dylan's brother.

Masters of War is awesome.

Has there ever been a better songwriter than Dylan? Maybe Willie, but there's just about no competition.

I think Neil Young and Bob Dylan are on equal footing. Songs like Southern Man and Old Man are absolute masterpieces.
