Defenceman Jason Smith (maintenance) did not practice today but is expected back tomorrow. Winger Chris Neil (lacerated calf) is out indefinitely. Head coach Cory Clouston expects to have both Alexandre Picard and Shean Donovan back for Wednesday's game in Buffalo. - TSN

Heatley - Spezza - Alfredsson
Foligno - Fisher - Shannon
Vermette - Kelly - Ruutu
Donovan/Schubert - McAmmond - Winchester

Defence:
Phillips - Volchenkov
Kuba - Lee

Elliott

Good to see Phillips and Volch back together- The line of Fisher-Foligno-Shannon should be pretty exciting to watch too.

Booo!! I was just starting to get used to the 1offensive, 1defensive on each pairing setup.
Can someone tell me why every coach of this team insists on having a shutdown pairing, an offensive pairing, and the 3rd pairing...? Serious question...I don't understand.

We'll see how the pairings turn out on Wednesday when the Sens play the Sabres in Buffalo.
