Tukker's Best of the Franchise Series

All 30 teams, over 62 days, the members of GM Hockey will vote for the greatest player of all 30 franchises. I'm not asking who the greatest player in the history of each team, but rather the most important player to each franchise. For example, Gretzky shouldn't be voted as the best player for the Blues (Hull or Oates should be). There are a few kinks I need to work out. I'll post the problems here, and gauge by reaction the best choice.

*For Montreal, 2 separate polls will be issued on the same day, one with ten Habs, the other with nine(plus other). then two days later, a final poll with the top 2 vote getters from each poll(4 in total) will be pitted against each other.

I just realized something. Look how many times the Dallas Franchise has moved

My first Problem involves the Ottawa Senators. Do you guys believe this should be simply for the Current(1992+) Senators, or include the original Ottawa Senators/Silver Seven in the poll.

also, I need help picking players for Atlanta tomorrow. I've got Hossa, Kovalchuk, Heatley,and McChechern(SP?)

Anaheim Poll closed, Kariya won with 38% of the votes. The Thrashers poll is up now too.

Can you allow two without breaking it into two separate polls? (i.e. "top group" and "bottom group")

I doubt any of us would have much more than news clippings, wikipedia and the like to give us perspective on the original team, so it's hard to compare fairly. It's hard enough comparing players like Richard to Crosby, given the changes in the game.

There needs only be one name on the 1992+ poll. I doubt anyone else even gets a single vote.

The Anaheim Poll shouldn't be closed, unless you personally put a time limit on it. It's just not a featured poll on the main page. Trust me there's a tonne of active polls on here.
