I've never even to be honest fully understood why this rule existed. The puck is allowed to take deflections and caroms and bounces and who knows how many types of direction changes and in how many ways, but kicking a puck is like the worst thing you could ever do.

Sens up 2-0 after 1. Shots are 12-3 in favour of the Sens. We're ALL OVER them. Goals by Heater and Volchie. Sweet stuff. Would have been nice to put a few more in on that 5-min major.
