Too bad for Brown on this timing...he could've been called to the big club with all the injuries.

I like everything the Sens are doing with the exception of demoting White to 4th line duties again. The Paajarvi-Smith-Pyatt line is exactly why fans hated Boucher last season. Their L4 is McCormick-Carey-White. Just an atrocious bottom six.

Batherson and Balcers seem to be developing chemistry. It's nice to see Paul performing as I think he's been underutilized in Belleville the past few seasons. But I image Balcers and Batherson will be with the big club permanently by next season, probably sooner. Brown will be good if he can stay healthy which it appears he can't. Don't know what the organization should do with him

Hard not to get slightly excited about these two. We'll see how they progress, but batherson we've seen a bit of and looks great and balcers appears to have the eye for goals in the ahl.

Good for Batherson!  He's often the "forgotten" guy, but it's great to see that he likely won't be spending too much time in the AHL if he keeps that pace up....

Batherson was my dark horse to make the team. He's clearly adjusting to the speed and size in the AHL and imagine will be able to do so in Ottawa. I am happy they're giving him time to develop down there.

I imagine Pyatt, Paajarvi, Smith, Carey, and maybe McCormick will be gone next year paving the way for Balcers, Batherson, Chlapik and Brown to play in the NHL. Hopefully they can find a way to have White play a more prominent role.

Paul got the call up. Pretty much what I expected. He's good in the booth and they don't care if he sits or plays 5 minutes because he's not going to be here next year.  And his NHL salary is lower.
