You can pick all three options if you like.  If you choose Other then let us in on who that person might be.

I voted White, but he could likely do with a bit of Bingo time as well. I have a fear that we might try and "rush" Chabot to make it look like it was no big deal losing Methot. Hopefully he spends a month or two in Bingo though, as a minimum.

White is fairly obvious. We lost Kelly, Neil and likely also Wingels and Stalberg, and Brassard may not be ready to start the season.

Chabot should make it, too, since he has more talent than everyone we have on the left, and the only think he lacks he can only get in Ottawa.

He Dominated at the WJC. As long as he is in shape, there's little he can learn in Belleville.

Nobody else? You only think those two? What about Logan Brown since we're pretty thin with our forward group.

I think McCormick starts in place of White at the start of the year. We are weak on the left and he's done all that he can do for the B Sens. White can use a dozen games to develop before he's rushed in at the NHL. The team likes speed and McCormick has a ton of that. Depending on how they plan to use Dzingel and Burrows, I can see a Dzingel-McCormick-Pyatt 4th line to start the year.

I picked white as he's the most likely. Might be someone else from bingo. I kind of hope chabot starts in the A

I don't see why white would make it out of camp. I'd start him in Bellville no matter what and I'd try to sign stalberg. When there are injuries he'd be a callup, but I wouldn't start him unless he dominated DC.

Chabot is a wildcard. If they do nothing and sign no one, then I think he might see some action. No need to rush but this is an elite prospect so he might be ok.

Not sure about harper.

This isn't rushing it. By most accounts he was NHL ready last year. He did not look out of place at all in the two games he played.

As for Brown, he needs to add a little heft to his frame before he can dominate. Lots of development time lost to injuries last year. I believe he's still eligible for the WJC this year. We'll see how he does there.

Well Boucher says no "Silver Spoons" so I'll be interested to see if he sticks to that philosophy.

Didn't look very good at all. Got pushed around in the absolutely meaninglessly small minutes he played, didn't really show anything. I think he might get a taste to start the year, but he'd be better off going down to the AHL and learning the speed of the pro game before jumping into a top 4 (?) position, unless Boro's getting scratched for him which won't be often - and if that's the case, he might get the old play one game, sit the next treatment which I also dislike with prospects.

Injuries will tell the tale. If someone gets injured in camp, then he might be in, but are we gonna stand pat with this defence? If we don't, it'd be:

Claesson - Karlsson
Phaneuf - Ceci
Boro - Wideman
Harper/Chabot/Englund

Who plays in the minors if there's an injury there? Boucher-loved Harper? Chabot? Or Englund who has turned heads ever since he was drafted?

Or, if we add someone:

UFA - Karlsson
Phaneuf - Ceci
Claesson/Boro - Wideman
Claesson/Boro/Harper/Englund/Chabot

No room right now, not needed until he's seen some time in the AHL.

White at least has several spots to try to earn, one being Brassard who likely won't be ready for the first game apparently.

Brown needs to have a killer year next year in the OHL, then year after next we'll re-assess, but I'd guess he's a few years away.

Yeah, I don't see how Brown could be anywhere than the OHL next year.
Hes got some kind of catching up to do on his development.

Im still not sure he'll be much more than a very good 3rd liner with scoring upside down the road. But his ceiling could be high. I guess we'll see.

Yeah, that's the thing, I don't think anyone can predict with him right now. Massive frame, hasn't filled out at all really yet, amazing vision, but is he a PP specialist? I don't like him as a 3 C personally, he's a boom or bust. Top liner or weak 2nd liner or bust.

He might very well bust. It is hard to tell right now.
But I wouldn't mind if he was a boom or bust if the boom is sizeable. But if offence doesn't come maybe he is a 3rd liner.

Another boom or bust prospect is Gabriel gagne. Did not put it together at all last year. But he could be a slow learner. Still some time with him.

Brown grew huge in a short amount of time. I had a Buddy who grew 2" aged had to wear a neck brace the while summer. Takes time for the "infrastructure" to catch up (joints, ligaments, muscles, even the brain has to re-learn).

Won't know if he's a bust for at least 2 years, more likely 3-4.
