Who makes it to the Final?

Rangers have Lundqvist and a dull as dishwater gameplan.

Nashville has some big name D talent, Pekka Rinne and the long lost Radulov

St. Louis has a Hitchcockianly stifling Defense and solid goaltending

Capitals have Hunter and a rookie goalie who has shown he can play out of his mind.

Philly has oodles of offensive talent, great D and Ilya Sievegalov

NJ just seems to find a way to be in the thick of things and then there's always Fraudeur.

Phoenix has Smith playing out of his mind and a ,Anahiem circa 2003, penchant for OT greatness.

LA has Quick and swiftly handled the heavily favoured Canucks.

Which two teams make it to the final? Just for fun and bragging rights? Let me know what you think. I put a few random options in a poll but feel free to put your own ideas and justifications here.

I'm not sure about the East but I am starting to think Phoenix is a team of destiny / Cinderella story. With 6 OT games and winning 4 of them so far I just see them being put there by fate alone.

'93 Habs won 10 OT games in a row. Phx not even close to a Cinderella/ToD storyline yet. And don't think that one win against Nashville puts them through to the conference finals.

philly vs preds... even after losing th first two. i can't imagine them not finding a way.

philly will crush NY in so many ways if the meet in the conf finals

The real answer to this question is "Who cares?"

I'm hoping for a Rags/Flyers east final, as that will be somewhat interesting (even though the Rags are deathly boring to watch). In the west...well...how exciting is a Phoenix/LA final?

Worry? Couldn't care less. At this point, they could cancel the rest of the playoffs and I wouldn't be very upset.
