Johansson signs for $13.75 over 3 years, $4.58 per..

The Washington Capitals and forward Marcus Johansson waited until the almost the last moment, but got a deal done and won’t have to go to arbitration.
They had an arbitration hearing slated for later Wednesday, but agreed on a three-year, $13.75 million deal in the morning.
Johansson, 25, scored 17 goals and 29 assists over 74 games with the Caps in 2015-16, his sixth year with the club. He added seven points over 12 playoff games as well

again, points to hoffman looking to make more than 5 per

Will anyone really be that bothered if a guy that scored nearly 60 goals over the last two seasons gets paid $5+? I guess that's a dumb question. Of course people will be bothered. I'll be ok with it though. 

$16.5 over 3 years is my current guess.

I'm completely fine with it myself.
I'm gonna stick with 5x5 but won't be surprised if it's 4x 5.25 21 mill even Stevens.

Brad Richard retires. Is he still getting paid by buy outs anyways? That guy is loaded. Enjoy the time off young man!

When I hear of guys retiring that are younger than me it makes me want to cry... I have yet to get my Dung together and I turned 40 last week!

Richards career earnings are $107M, and he's still making millions each year because if the Rags buyout.

That would be a great site down there. I was just there last month for a ramones exhibit at he queens museum and it seems to me like there's enough space to build an arena. Easily accessible by public transport and would likely increase revenues to surrounding businesses in the winter months. It's a nice part of queens.

I'm kind of surprised that the ow ship is complaining about revenue lost du to less seats than regular NHL arenas. I mean they knew that going in there. It seemed like a bit of a scramble when they headed over there.
