Hoffman can't score on the breakaway, just like in the shootout, his attempt was poor. He should always just shoot from the slot.

Chiasson playing with an edge, and actually looks like a player worth having around. But then if we resign him, I'm afraid he'll be invisible most of the year again.

3 PP goals for the Flyers. We're missing Phaneuf and Methot.

Considering no Methot, no Phaneuf, no Turris, no Stone and against a Philly team that is desperate for a win and are something like 14-3 coming in. On the pre-game show they basically said they just hoped not to get embarrassed. Well, the PK was embarrassing, but other than that, they certainly were not blown away, either.

Hoffman sets a new personal high with his 28th (3 more tries to get to 30). Karlsson got an assist to keep up to his PPG pace. Crosby got an assist as well (in a 5-0 romp over the Islanders) so still 2 back.
