For whatever reason, we suck against Carolina. Let's lose this game so we can officially become sellers and enter the tanking arena.

I'm going, so I'm hoping to see a 3 goal game from Dzingel - all assisted by Karlsson - and a 3 goal game from Stone - again, all Karlsson - and a 3 goal game by Paul - Karlsson - and finally a 5 goal outburst from Karlsson himself.

Too much to ask? I think not.

(My former co-worker always used that line so I figured it was always used; one day I finally borrowed the tape from the library and watched all episodes, and Manuel only says it once!)

I remember Karlsson gushing over Loui Eriksson when they were both all-stars in 2011. Problem is we have a lot of LW's next year: Mac, Hoff, Dzingel, Prince, Puempel, Paul. And he's 30 (31 at start of next season).

More realistically I see us trading a Puempel/Prince + another piece to acquire a top-six LW and move Mac to L3.

I like the idea of Jaden Schwartz but he'll cost a fortune and I don't think we have much Stl would want...

The only problem with that is he's apparently looking for 5-6 years - which could be very ugly towards the end

You don't see Eriksson as an Alfie type player? Longevity?
Personally I don't know. It's beginning to be a crap shoot with players. Only the ones that play with a hard edge seem to be a terrible bet to go past 34.
