He must be nursing an injury...the man has forgotten how to shoot a puck.

Well he had a broken finger, and he continued playing. Can a bone heal if he's constantly using his hands like that? When they have to freeze it to allow him to play through it, certainly he loses something and won't be as effective/accurate. How long ago was the Montreal game where Petry blind-sided him with a late hit and he went back-first into the boards?

I was just thinking that Stone, Pageau, and (obviously) EK are my favourite Sens at this moment. They will the team to win.
Stone is just lights out. I can't believe how late he fell in the draft. I think all those knocks on his skating early on probably helped his development.
JGP brings so much energy that he somehow woke Condra up.
EK is a beast.
Good time to be a Sens fan.

Ddrafting injured players is a 50/50.
Sometimes you get Mark Stone, sometimes you get Jarrod Maidens.

If his bone wasn't going to heal, he wouldn't be playing.

Are the odds even that good when drafting any player in any round even if they're healthy? I never thought so.
Having said that, the run we've had was great and all but it would be nice to lose a few and help our precious draft position.

you can play through it during the season then get the surgery after the season. All I know is if we make the playoffs, Ryan might be very clutch for us

No professional athlete is getting surgery on a broken bone weeks after it happened. You either get it right away, or it doesn't require surgery.
We have been in the playoffs for a while now (every game is critical). He's been pointless in 11 of the past 13 games, and only has 1 goal in that stretch. This is the opposite of clutch.

He is clearly playing through injury. You and all of us have zero clue about what he has, so it's not right to judge. Last night he was very good when it mattered most in OT.
