Game against Boston on Thursday will be the decider if we're to catch Boston. They might lose one of game again NYR or Anaheim but with their schedule, Thursday has to be ours in regulation. Otherwise, hope the caps play 500 rest of the way.

He made two saves and let the post do the rest. He mentioned in the post-game interview how he wasn't very good in that shootout in St. Louis and I guess he adjusted. Voracek, Simmonds, Giroux -- that's a pretty decent lineup.

They've got to stop trotting Turris out there as the first shooter. That was a poor effort. Emery's got a bad hip -- either five hole (like Ryan did) or make him come across and then deke (Turris came straight in leaving himself no room to deke).

Emery doesn't have a bad hip. That's like saying Michalek has a bad knee

Watch him try to go side to side.

I'd love to know what Murray is thinking about right now. Wonder if he's considering going with an Anderson/Hammond combo. I guess only the goalie coach can tell if Hammond is for real.

Murray's also gotta be wondering about what to do with the vets no ? The team started winning when we really handed the young-uns the reigns. What do you do with Phillips, Neil, McArthur even ?

Nothing that is going to be decided now but the summer should be interesting.

I don't think we're ready for the parade but IF we make the playoffs (that's a BIG female parental unit diddling IF), we could do some damage here ... especially if we start against the Smurfs.

So why is the Sens' PP so bad? Going up against the league's 29th worst PK and they barely manage to get a shot on goal each time. I wonder if it's time to start the PP with Karlsson on the bench. They are relying on him to the point where they mostly stand around waiting. When the PP is *that* awful and Karlsson is the one driving it, maybe get someone else behind the wheel for a couple tries.
