I didn't think it was a dud but I didn't think they pushed all that hard either. Their best chances came on the 3rd power play and you almost knew it wasn't their night the way that went.

Wiercioch was the only D that provided offense.  Karlsson did not have his A-game.  Looked tired.  Kept giving the puck up, slow to make decision with the puck.

I would have preferred Greening over Chiasson.  The kid needs to sit a few games.  Not sure what Ceci was trying on the second goal but both he and Anderson way over-committed giving Ericksson an easy tap in.

OK, I'll come out and say it.  Should have kept riding the streak.  Don't care how good Anderson is, Hammond was better even if we know it wouldn't last.

Anderson was a part of that streak, which wasn't even a streak anymore because Hammond lost in Minnesota

No use crying over spilled milk. Time to focus on humiliating the Habs in their own rink.

Let's run with the Gregger. Let him lose his way into form. Once we've been mathematically eliminated we can give the Hamburglar a handful of games so that he doesn't have enough of a sample size to get him anything other than another AHL contract. Win Win?

This can't happen soon enough. All this winning is preventing us from "seeing the kids" which would be more interesting than possibly making the playoffs.

Just compare it to Edmonton and Toronto.

Disagree.  Ceci struggled, true, has been struggling a bit for a few games.  But Weircioch had a god game.  Second in ice time, so Cameron thought so, too.

Did you see how Wiercioch played on that 2nd Bruins goal?

1/ He's first entering the zone
2/ Zibanejad and especially Hoffman are wide open on his wings
3/ He doesn't pass, fends on the shot, loses the puck
4/ Breakaway for Eriksson

It's not over for us. I'm not optimistic, but a nice 3 game losing streak from Boston coupled with a 3 gamer for us will put us right back into it - and we all know that can happen.

Can't wait until this scrub is replaced by Cowen as he should have been 4 games ago.

Wiercioch and Gryba were the best 2 D men all night for the Sens, Methot and Karlsson struggled again I thought, they were not given any time or space.

The one player that has had his struggles lately is Ceci, he might be the guy that takes a seat for Cowen.

A clear cut loss should precipitate change. You can pick at Wiercioch and Cowen all you want but there has only been one constant on that pairing.

Gryba and Boroweicki play the same way every single game, consistent is exactly how I would describe that pairing. They don't seem to make mistakes and if they do they are minor because they just don't take risks. IMO that's the 2nd pairing in Ottawa right now, not Ceci/Wiercioch/Cowen.

Boro and Gryba are gaining confidence with their shots too. It gives those guys another dimension.

Fanning on the shot happens. It wasn't necessarily a bad decision. As for the breakaway, it was due to a bad change -- Ceci came on the ice late and had to race diagonally across the ice. He got to Ericksson early but went after the puck instead of just stopping Ericksson. Louie had a long stick and managed to poke the puck to forward and back toward the middle as Ceci spun out of control.

Are you playing games with me? You never agree with me.

Can you explain how you disagree that the Sens have gotten a good number of good NHL players in the last 7 drafts? It appears that you're disagreeing based on, at most, "a few games."

I'm having trouble understanding the connection between "We got a ton of good players the last 7 drafts," and your disagreement.
