Sens take on the Avs tonight in Colorado. Note the 9pm start time.

It'll be against his former team. Varlamov will probably start for the Avs. I also expect Lazar to get back in the lineup, likely at the expense of Greening.

Will be interesting to see if lazar can build up from his WJC and starts finding the back of the net more often

Lazar will be back in no question... don't think there's a question Greening will be out, doesn't matter how hard he tries or what he does he's just completely ineffective. Sucks because he has a lot of heart.

Put him behind a microphone and/or in front of a camera.

So, Lazar at center or wing? Has Pageau done enough to keep his spot as the 3LC (and moving up to 2LC when Zibanejad is struggling)? On the other hand, what if we take out Legwand and have Lazar centering the 4th line.

Fiddle around, see what works, what doesn't. No reason not to experiment right now because there isn't a ton to lose.

Crystal clear they will never move Greening this season. Why don't they just send him down to Bingo for the rest of the year? You can rehab the asset. Let him play in all situations and refind his game. Watching from the press box or playing four minutes a night will not get that done.

This also frees up a spot for a promotion for a deserving member of the B-Sens.

I'm not entirely sure a trip to Bingo would help Greening....wouldn't hurt though I guess.

I think you might have to waive Greening. When Methot is activated and actually playing and Smith and Neil come back, you have to do something.

The correct thing to do is trade Smith, but what can you do...

You're right, you would have to expose Greening to waivers in order to get him to the minors.
