The Sens look to enter the holiday break feeling good about themselves. They've been playing well lately.

Expect Matrix to start against a Capitals team that's been playing well lately. I assume we'll see Holtby for Washington. He's been having a good year.

This should be a barn-burner...I guarantee it!

Only way the Sens win this one is if Anderson goes Anderson.

That's the only way we win most of our games...but yeah, I fully expect him to be awesome.

Just hope the kids keep playing well, Turris keeps on fire, and the D keep making strides towards being a solid, dependable group. The plugs are the plugs and it won't change.

It'd be a nice Christmas present to see Ryan pot a couple.

Pretty odd statement. This is a winnable game regardless of how our goalie plays.

I think Leonard has found ways to lose no matter who he faces.

Hoffman could potentially have fun if he uses his speed. Thought they played pretty well last game personally, like them to build on that.

Don't agree, they outplayed Montreal for 40 minutes before running out of gas. I expect a Sens win with a quiet night for Anderson (under 30 shots against).

Agreed. The Caps are in the Mediocrapolitan division. Assuming they win the one game they have in hand they are 6 points up on the Sens, having played 9 games against New Jersey, Columbus and Carolina.

Not saying it will be easy or guaranteed win, but to say that our only chance is if the goalie steals one is a bit strange. These aren't the Blackhawks or Ducks.

Some questionable homer calls didn't help in the third.

I haven't liked Chiasson in the last few games. He needs to turn it around.

Wiercioch will be in for Phillips. Rest of the lines stay the same from last game. Dunno if we'll see Wiercioch or Borocop or Cowen with Karlsson for the majority of the evening.

Boro-Karlsson worked in the past. I don't think Cameron has the balls yet to go off-page so much as to pair up PW with EK. Although I'd really like to see how that would work.
