The buzz is back. Coming off a great W over the Bruins, the Sens will look to build some momentum in Buffalo by beating a Sabres team that has been playing well of late.

Lehner will start again for the road team, coming off a great performance.

It is likely that Phillips will be a healthy scratch again, with Smith, Neil, and Michalek all injured. It is likely that Methot will remain sidelined with a severe case of bad negotiationitis.

JG Pageau has been recalled and should suit up against the Sabres. I'm not sure if he'll play LW or center. If he goes C, I assume it's Lazar who will shift to the wing.

Projected lines:

Hoffman Zibanejad Ryan
Macarthur Turris Stone
Greening Legwand Michalek
Condra Lazar Chiasson

BoroCop Karlsson
Cowen Ceci
Wiercioch Gryba

Michalek is off the IR, he may go in for Greening, too.

Is Stone not no Turris' wing anymore?

Michalek is eligible. There remains an extra forward.

So it should be 9mm or Greening sitting.

Damn, there goes the 1-game win streak.

Michalek in means Lazar goes back to center. As a center, I don't think they send Lazar to the WJC.

Does anyone really think that Lazar could be the difference between winning and losing? He wasn't costing this team points but he wasn't exactly turning heads (other than because he is a teenager). His only reason for sticking here was the Kid Line, and that's been disbanded a long time ago.

He should play at the WJHC. We don't need him to be a bottom-six forward. We need him to be a top-six.

The only downside I see would be if he had a bad tournament and came back with even less confidence than he has now. It's got to be pretty disheartening for a guy like him to be closing in on 30 games without a goal (and, really, without much offense to speak of).

I think Lazar's confidence is fine. Look at him. He never stops smiling.
