wait what??? why would we ever want to trade Ceci? i would be very cautious of dealing cowen also... i'd want another year of him healthy to make a decision on him. i would add zib to that list but it really depends, if it's ROR coming the other way then yes, i'd trade zib. i'm afraid he's a guy we would regret trading in a few years, obviously the return has to be really good and not just for a shake up.

The D-corps is definitely the problem. If you watch closely, it seems like the first wave of defensive play is not that bad, but once they get the puck they take 10 years to turn around and find an open man and by the time they do the forwards are already being checked by the other team.

I can't recall the last time I saw our team run around so badly in the defensive zone. It's laughable.

Used to be Statspazza's fault. Not sure who to hang it on now.

ROR for a healthy scratch? Not likely.

Ceci and Cowan are improving but if that is what it takes to make your whole team better, so be it.

no way you deal ceci, he's so young and already this good. he's going to be so good later one. what's the obsession with winning now when we are building a contender with 2-3 years idea down the road. right now most moves are gonna make us into wildcard candidates. you want to be top 2 in division kind of contender.
ya i don't think a one for one ROR zib would happen. but you could add to that to make it happen. he's one of the few players i would consider trading zib for(that might be available)

Stationary forwards are very easy to check. Our wingers are dreadful in the defensive zone. I don't know if it's a lack of foot speed or a lack of understanding of their assignments or a lack of defensive zone system. Brutal and again block a Cussing shot.
