It's concerning after getting outshot for the entire season last year. Road or not, they need to get better at limiting chances against.

Legwand... he's playing with Neil and Smith or Greening, good luck to him.

Smith had a real nice chance tonight. I thought he was gonna get one for sure, but he got robbed by Luongo.

First thing that came to my mind. Deadline deal confirmed.

The pattern emerging with Zibanejad is that he basically saves his energy in periods 1 and 2 and shows up for the 3rd. Easy to be fooled into thinking he had a good game when you forget the first 2/3 of the match.

Just like his linemate Bobby. I remember people ripping him hard last year before going on a PPG pace.

How did any person think the Panthers or Sabres were going to be better than Ottawa?

Cuz the Sens get no rispek. It's the same crap every year.

Sportsnet did not though...

They had the Sens above the Panthers, Sabres, Hurricanes and Flames. But that's it.

Yeah, I bet most Sens fans thought how nice it would be to get Campbell and see him next to Karlsson. Speed and skill to burn to say the least.

Michalek was really good last night as well. Strong on the puck, hitting, great backchecking. If he can score 20 and play like that he'll have a really successful year.

Also...chiasson is really impressive. Can't say enough good things at the way he plays. Board battles are almost always won, great shot, nice size, decent speed.

Yeah, maybe pp only. Actually, I find Campbell fairly underrated period.

Chiasson is big and plays big... which is very refreshing. Hopefully that continues.

Why?  Stone is a rookie who is finding success on a top line that's usually out playing their opposition.  No reason too... like it a lot.  give Ryan a center who has a clue right now, same with Chaisson.  Zibanejad is really killing the momentum on that line.

Not even close. Did you even watch the game? Ryan, zibby, and chiasson were doing very well especially on the cycle. Either way, zibanejad is the best centre other than Turris, period. There's nothing else they could do for ryan.

Thought Chaisson and Ryan were solid but Zibanekad has and is struggling to start the season. I believe Zibanejad needs to play with some guys where he knows he is the go to offensive guy, not 2 guys who score goals.

Sens getting 4 points on the road to start the year is huge when they are still looking to find the right mix and the right lineup. Hopefully they stick with the same group of D because it was solid last game and obviously Greening is coming out for one of Hoffman or Lazar... I would guess Lazar. Don't think you can take Condra out after that game, he was fanstasic which is great to see.

Neil was good as well but not sure you need him against the soft Habs. Not sure if he'd ever be scratched though.

Our forwards are really solid. When they start cashing in on their chances, we could be quite fun to watch up front.
