Pretty much as expected.

He's old and only getting worse as the games go on. The Sens gave him a contract to save face, not because they wanted him as a player. He's not a top six on a good team.

Literally what fans say.

Cowen gets benched and the D fairs much better.  Ruh-roh.

I think Chiasson and MacArthur might be my two favourite Sens.

Both solid but Turris is a guy taking the team on his back offensively right now, such an underrated player in the NHL.

They need to get Ryan away from Zibanejad though, if they mix it up a little on that 2nd line, get Legwand with Ryan and Chaisson I think they fare much better.

O thought zibby and ryan were great, they just need to play some more to find more chemistry. Legwand looks a bit flat so far.

I didn't mind Z-Bad with Chiasson and Ryan, although I think they should just keep Mac/Turris/Ryan together permanently.

Zibanejad hasn't done anything all year and tonight he was invisible. He is a fairly lazy player at this point in his career, he doesn't keep his feet moving and loses battles because of it. He will learn how to be a better player as time goes on, his career path right now looks a lot like Kesler's but he's struggling right now without question.

Legwand... he's playing with Neil and Smith or Greening, good luck to him.

Why? Stone is a rookie who is finding success on a top line that's usually out playing their opposition. No reason too... like it a lot. give Ryan a center who has a clue right now, same with Chaisson. Zibanejad is really killing the momentum on that line.

All year, three games lol. Zibanejad was fine tonight. Made some nice passes, won 11 faceoffs out of 18. I disagree with your assessment. Some guys are just slow starters, like Bobby ryan. Both will be better as the games go on. Zibby will shed some weight and get faster.

Legwand hasn't been as good as zibanejad at this point, looks like he is adjusting to the system.

Not even close. Did you even watch the game? Ryan, zibby, and chiasson were doing very well especially on the cycle. Either way, zibanejad is the best centre other than Turris, period. There's nothing else they could do for ryan.

First thing that came to my mind. Deadline deal confirmed.

Yep, that line was the best line for most of the night but Ryan's release is still not as quick as it usually is.

It's concerning after getting outshot for the entire season last year. Road or not, they need to get better at limiting chances against.

Smith had a real nice chance tonight. I thought he was gonna get one for sure, but he got robbed by Luongo.
