Marchand and Lucic are beasts.

It's sad because we could beat these Diddlers in a 7 game series (Habs). The East final is gonna be terrible.

So, Kings force a Game 7 back in Anaheim. No games tonight.

Kings @ Ducks Game 7 goes Friday night, 9:00pm ET.

Eastern Conf Finals gets going on Saturday with the Rags @ Habs at 1:00pm ET.  1pm? Hilarious.

Western Conf Finals will likely start on Sunday then. Chi vs winner of LA/Ana.

I heard the West Final Game 1 on Sunday will be 3pm EST. Not much turn around time for LA or the Ducks after playing Friday night. Also, more afternoon games. Boo.

i'm hoping for a habs LA finals personally. with LA winning. kinda of a throwback to the 93 series, but a massacre going the other way. a sweep in 4!  Laugh1

My understanding is that Weise was asked what he said, but he told reporters that Lucic was "disrespectful and classless" but didn't repeat anything.

I think they just watched the video to figure out what he actually said.

Meh. Weise should have just said "What is said on the ice stays on the ice." and taken the high road. Either way, too much time wasted on this silliness.

If I was a Boston fan, I'd be a little pissed off about the reffing last night, but what can you do?  Marchand gets crosschecked in the head, and he gets a penalty....Chara holds a guy up against the boards like you see 9000 times every game, and he gets a penalty.  

That said, the Habs played pretty well in the series overall, and knocking out the best regular season team is no small feat.  Price was outstanding.

Marchand got a high stick, for sure, but how do you explain his feet sliding out from under him just in time to bowl over Price?  There was absolutely intent to run the goalie.  Also, if you think he got the raw end of the deal with that stick to the noggin, take a look at this:


And as for Chara, he had his arms around the Habs player, not just pinning him. Chara has lost a step. He was stumbling around last night because he could not keep up with Smurf Speed, and ended up using his arms to compensate.

Because it's the handshake line.  No other sport has this.  Expectation is you accept defeat graciously, andvictory with humility.
My kids soccer team does handshakes after every game. Every single rugby game I played in had a handshake after, even if there had been a massive brawl on the field.
