yes, they were garbage for periods 2 and 3.

Habs will get wrecked by the Rangers.

Woulda coulda shoulda -- but if Bishop was healthy and in net for Tampa, Montreal probably would have lost in round 1. They had a 4 game sweep yes but 3 of those games went to OT with a really bad goalie in net for Tampa.

Montreal lucked out that Bishop was hurt.

But for the last 2 games in this series.. the Habs were the better team.. and Price the better goalie. I still hate it though..


Looks like LA solved Gibson -- up 2-0 in the 2nd period..

Habs are looking good. Credit given where credit due. They have heart. I expect they make the finals.

 

So, apparently Lucic had some words during the handshake. He had things to say to Weise and I think Emelin. He looked like an idiot, clearly Wing Dang Doodle at the Habs.

I don't think the Habs would win a game against either Anaheim or LA. The level of play in the West is ridiculous.
They can beat Chicago once or twice though.

Habs could make the final, but it's hard to imagine the Rags or Habs beating any of the West teams that are left. It's like the year the Sens went to the Final.

If I was a Boston fan, I'd be a little pissed off about the reffing last night, but what can you do? Marchand gets crosschecked in the head, and he gets a penalty....Chara holds a guy up against the boards like you see 9000 times every game, and he gets a penalty.

That said, the Habs played pretty well in the series overall, and knocking out the best regular season team is no small feat. Price was outstanding.

Eastern Conf Finals gets going on Saturday with the Rags @ Habs at 1:00pm ET.  1pm? Hilarious.

Western Conf Finals will likely start on Sunday then. Chi vs winner of LA/Ana.
