Spezza is right out of it.

Tonight, a game like this is where you see who is worth a damn and I can honestly say there are a few that stick out.

Karlsson, Weircioch, Smith, Turris, Neil, MacArthur, Stone, Phillips, Gryba... Funny enough those are the guys that bring something unique to the team and play like they give a f***.

Spezza, no where to be seen, Anderson has been laughable, Michalek is a 3rd liner at this point. 3 guys you have to let go, tonight is a perfect example why.

I'd throw in all prospect next year. Don't care. Ship out spezza, don't resign hemsky and Michalek. Fill it with bingo depth and the guy you get back for spezza. I want to see lazar, puempel, give prince a chance etc

This game tonight is 100% on Anderson though despite guys not showing up. That first goal doesn't go in and the Sens are probably up 4 or 5 nothing but that's just speculation. Anderson really shouldn't get another start the rest of the way, Lehner has earned the right to play the next 5.

I assume it would take something like Spezza, Cowen to land O'Reilly and Methot for Stewart.  Doubt this would ever happen but it's what I would do.

That team might struggle but you will get an honest effort every night and you will see the progress in the team as a whole.

Cowen is untouchable

Stewart, do not want to touch as he does not give the effort needed. We need effort every night like you said. That does not come from him.

Inconsistent for sure but still brings a unique skill set that the Sens need. I like Stewart, always have but who knows. E.Kane would be the same thing but I doubt Spezza waives for the Peg.

I think he will be tough to move.

I think he's easy to move in the sense a lot of teams would take him... he will be tough to move because he's Murray's golden boy.

I'd take work ethic over skill set at this point. Enough inconsistent, I don't give a Diddle players.

Spezza looks great watching that goal go in.

Anderson has let in as many goals as he has made saves almost.

Could be right along with Ev. I like Stewart a lot but bringing in a guy who does have questions around his character is probably a questionable move.

I also agree with Ev that Cowen is close to untouchable.
