Anderson let in 5 goals and his team double the other in the shot count. He lost that game, not Cowen, not Spezza, not Karlsson, not anyone but Anderson. Sens need to score 4 goals to win basically every single time he is in the nets.

I just opened my laptop to come here and say the exact same thing. That game should have been a rout.

Anderson has let in 3 or more goals in 21 of his 32 games played, that's unreal. I count the game in Anahiem. He's also let in the first shot of the game 7 or 8 times as well. He might be playing better but he's still playing basically the same way.

Let's not get carried away. Pretty much the only goal you can fault Anderson on is the last one. Yeah, if Anderson's a little better, we win that game, but Montreal was lucky in many instances.

Anyway, we outplayed them for most of the game (drastically in most instances).  Montreal was lucky to get a single point, let alone two.  Price played out of his mind, they got a couple very lucky bounces, and that was that.

Ottawa has kept their momentum and speed up in their play, they'll be just fine.

I love how Subban does absolutely nothing all night, and then gets a garbage OT winner and acts like he won the Stanley Cup.  Regardless, I would have no problem lining up against the Habs in a playoff series right now.

So Lehner next game?

He has a save % under 800 lol. Let in the first shot of the game... again. He lets in 3 goals or more 2 out of every 3 games. He's not the best goaltender in Ottawa. He was awful tonight and the only goal that he really had no chance on was the 4th.

Not playing like that but if that's the goaltending then they will be in tough. Again you can't score 4 goals every single game and with Anderson in nets you have to.

Anderson is gonna be good in the playoffs. Right now he is just not into groove when he doesn't get action. This is his first bad game in the last 6-7 IIRC so I'm not gonna panic over that.
