Get Anderson right back in there on Saturday as he owes his team a win, should have no trouble being motivated for that one.  Sens win on Saturday night and they don't look back.

Except it's a 2PM start and you all know how well we do in those.

Great game from the Sens, Andy could have been a but better, but whatever, we deserved two for sure

I find Cowen to be slow and surprisingly easy to push off.  He always looks exhausted.  I don't think his conditioning is where it should be and there is no way he should have been out the first shift of the OT.  I think Mac was trying to restore his confidence and it backfired.

That Subban celebration was embarrassing.  If he does that in Sochi I'll cheer for the Russians.

He's been confident for a while now. Why does he need it re-stored?

Cowen has been so solid and a big reason why the Sens are on a streak

Last few times I saw Wiercioch play he was being just as physical as Cowen plays now, and better on his skates.  If he's chasing Plekanec there instead of Cowen he either catches him or at the very least he doesn't fall down and kick the puck in.  That was a brutal play from the one-second delay it took him to pivot and start chasing to the way it ended up.  Anderson stopped the frakking breakaway!

Yeah, no.

With any amount of luck last night that 4th goal doesn't go in and people aren't saying a word. I honestly hate everyone.

Yeah, no.

Weircioch will still IMO be a more productive and probably better NHL than Cowen but again, he needs to play and Cowen is probably a better fit in Ottawa. He's never and never will be more physical or equal to Cowen there though.

Gryba with another nice game. They gotta move Wiercioch because he's playing very good hockey and he can't do anything to stay in the lineup because the fit just isn't there.

You didn't see the look on his face after the goal?

I agree with Prags that how Cowen bounces back from that will tell a lot about him currently as a player. It was a bad play mixed with crappy luck so he has to move on from that... short memory. If he's a stud on Saturday like he has been for the last month then you know exactly where his head is at.

I'm sure Wiercioch would have let Subban muscle his way around him just as well for that OT winner. That play PK should have wound up on his whiny as$ instead of racing away in celebration like he just won the FA Cup.

Meh. He couldn't believe what happened and was just frustrated at it.

Bounce back game vs the Rags. Book it.

What a game. Gotta love the sens' resiliency. If Anderson can make a key save or two, we win that game easily. Tough on cowen though, that blunder was epic, and what a Dung goal by anderson in OT.

But that said, dominant game. Sens will be in good shape playing the way they did last night. Gotta fix the players sneaking behind them like plekanec did on both of his goals though. If that breakaway in the 3rd doesn't happen, sens win that game and everyone is talking about the amazing comeback. Turris line is so dominant.

We can still catch the habs, likely after the olympic break but it's do-able. Must beat the rags on saturday. Anderson better come Cussing ready to play

Jesus Christ why are some fans like this

Because they are ignorant and stupid? lol

Cowen has been good for a while so w/e, he had one bad and unlucky 30 second stretch of game after being fantastic for about a month now.  People need to get a grip but that's HF for yah.  Children and morons.

lol same guy a few minutes later:

I couldn't resist responding. I'm so sick of the Ottawa fanbase sometimes, just terribly fickle. How could a fan not realize that Cowen's been our best D the last 10 games? Just completely not watching? Cussing annoying.

And Subban's celebration was immature, but if I had been booed the entire game, then scored the OT winner, I'd be very pleased.

Also, I think the Habs are about to become part of that huge pack of teams vying for a spot. They're just not good enough.

Because he's not and never will be on a team with "Karls" Karlsson on it?

Yeah, Cowen's been better than he was in the first 30 games (just think on that number for a little while) but he's hardly been out best. He's been paying with Karlsson, remember? I am still quite concerned about his lack of physicality.

Lack of physicality? With Cowen? He's using his size all the time now - it was before that he wasn't.

I wouldn't give him lip service unless I thought he was playing well, I was pretty hard on him when he was playing like an ECHLer.
