How is he still in this game?
Nah, the fourth goal is on MacLean for delaying Lehnertime.

Hey, NEELY, still think Zibanejad will be a good third liner or a Mike Fisher, tops? Kid seems to have a nose for the puck.

Maybe PMac can stop sucking Anderson's Richard now.

Whatever mojo Andy had last year, it's gone...

The ones on Mac for starting Anderson.

He should also use timeouts sometimes.

Whatever though this was a game I fully expected them to lose. B2B you usually win 1 of the 2.

Just got back... this game is on two people, Anderson and MacLean for starting Anderson.

Anderson was an absolute clown tonight, not only could he not stop a puck the diving was absolutely disgusting and whatever support he might have had from the fans and team are now gone. MacLean didn't even pull him after that 4th goal, he pulled him after he flopped and embarrassed the team. He gets worse when he sits on the bench, ask the people in Colorado. Get rid of his ASAP so the team can move on.

Spezza... again just an awful game from him, no hustle, no effort, just coasting.

Rest of the team I thought was pretty damn good tonight, they moved the puck well, not a ton of chances against, had a lot of chances for... game they deserved a better faith.

I think he's exactly like Mike Fisher still, lol. 20-25 goal guy who plays a 200 foot game. Nothing wrong with that.

On pace now for 24 goals in his second year even spending 8 games in the AHL, and playing on the fourth line for a while. I think he's going to be a bit better, offensively, then Fisher.

We'll see but again I see Mike Fisher with his career year being around 30 goals. If he can consistently find a way to be a 25-30 goal scorer year in and year out as the 2nd line center in Ottawa, that would be amazing. Don't see it though, think he lacks some hockey sense just as Fisher did.

Not a knock, just what I see and fact is I think that's exactly the type of player they need him to be.

It seems the Sens are getting better every game and TBH we don't get hemmed into our zone as much.
The reason we lost the past few games is not the same reason we lost the ones before that.
Either Maclean accepts to give the reigns to the young guys or he needs to be fired.

As long as I don't see him coming down the wing and shoot into the goalie's chest.

Murray is to blame for this too... pretty easy to trade Anderson at this point and if MacLean keeps forcing Anderson into the net then that's exactly what needs to be done. This is getting stupid.

I know MacLean can't throw a goaltender under the bus but I am so sick and tired of hearing "they have to stop making mistakes". Every team makes mistakes and everyone including the Sens have a goaltender that makes saves when they do. It's a BS excuse right now for awful coaching decisions with the goaltenders.

Also, I think Spezza is getting off a little too easy. Last night with around 5 mins left (give or take) the Canucks chipped it out of their zone and while everyone is Ottawa cleared Spezza just gliiiiiided on back, no hustle, no stride, no effort... puck is regained by Ottawa, pass over to Karlsson and while he's entering the zone with some speed and a potential scoring chance it's blown offside. Why? Because Spezza refused to skate.

It's just one of many plays where Spezza just puts nothing into it. Things don't go his way he pouts. Sick of it.

BUILD THE TEAM AROUND THE BIG FOUR! Lehner, Ryan, Turris, and Karlsson. Those 4 pieces are all potential franchise players if not are already there. Turris is the only one I wouldn't put into that realm of player but he's close as well.
