Big slap in the face to Alfie IMO. 2006 it was sundin, 2010 was lidstrom, and then they sub him for Zetterberg in what is clearly his last olympics.

I think he's only captained team sweden once in his life and that was at a world championship a couple years back.

Alfie had the A in 2006 when they won gold. Zetterberg had nothing. Now Zetterberg has the C, and Alfie has nothing.

I'm kinda ambivalent about this. Sure, if he was still with the Sens I would have been upset. Now, I just hate Norway.

Price will start vs Norway tomorrow, Lalongo will start the game against Austria.

I'm not a fan of Group B. We get to play Norway, Austria and Finland. Other than facing Tuuka Rask (Tuuka's Wrath?) the Canadian team is not going to get a true test until the knockout round. Honestly, does anyone think Finalnd (WJCs notwithstanding) is a contender? Russia, Canada, US, Sweden. Then second tier is Finland, Czechs. Would have preferred to play one of the contenders in a preliminary game.

Nobody else is a contender except Canada

Yah well in 06 they lost to the Swiss which screwed them for the rest of the tourny, killed their confidence. So beating up on some lesser nations with the Finns being a real test isn't a bad thing.
